Dr. Scott Miller
I’ve been a veterinarian since 1983. At a very early age I wanted to become a veterinarian, and I have never regretted that decision. I enjoy practicing veterinary medicine, interacting with clients, and keeping pets healthy for families to enjoy. After growing up in Fredrick Maryland, I went to Virginia Tech for my undergraduate degree in biochemistry and then went to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where I earned my doctorate of veterinary medicine.
I married my wife Charlotte in 1986, and we have two daughters; Kesi and Gabrielle. We moved to Lynchburg in 1998 to be closer to Charlotte’s family, while we raised our girls. We bought our practice in 2001, and have been practicing there ever since.
On my off time, I enjoy floating the James River and fishing for small mouth bass. I also enjoy gardening, working on our farm, and in the winter I like to do a bit of woodworking. My newest endeavor is that I am a novice beekeeper. I am a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, the Rustburg Lions Club, and I am an elected member of the Campbell County School Board. In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
